Young Beginner Group Lesson

This group lesson is appropriate for children aged 7 and under.

45 minutes (once a week).
This is a mini-group lesson (2-4 students maximum).
These lessons are about discovering and exploring. We sing, dance, play various percussion instruments, and, of course, play the piano.
Several young beginner method books are used, like the Mayron Cole Piano Method (pre-level 1 textbook), Primer Piano Adventures, and Piano Safari.
These lessons prepare students for one-on-one lessons.

Beginners

This lesson is appropriate for children aged 8 to 18.
For adults, a system for advancement and enjoyment depending on the adult's interests and ambitions is used.

Once a week, a 45 minute lesson.
These lessons serve to introduce the aural, singing, and rhythmic skills necessary for pianistic performance, as well as musical vocabulary.
Participation in recitals is mandatory.
We use a variety of activities, methods, and technique books depending on the student's repertoire.

Intermediate

This is a piano lesson for children aged 8 to 18.
For adults, a system for advancement and enjoyment depending on the adult's interests and ambitions is used.

The repertoire for the students' development of pianistic communication and expression will be more challenging.
Music exams (ABRSM, RCM) are optional, while recitals are mandatory.

Who is Mariela Piano?
Mariela is a piano teacher who combines the fundamentals of traditional piano playing with creative teaching strategies. She is acknowledged for her holistic piano teaching approach with a focus on good pianoforte habits and the development of a positive attitude toward music.
