Your voice, your instrument

During our piano lessons, I asked Lori to sing along with the piece she was playing. She was hesitant at first, but I encouraged her to give it a try. To my surprise, her voice sounded beautiful. She had a natural talent for singing that she had never realized before. I was impressed and encouraged her to explore her singing voice further.

Currently, she sings with the Detroit Opera Youth Chorus.

Singing is beneficial for piano players because it helps with expression.
