“I love exploring museums to discover the history of world music and the piano—then bringing those stories to life in my lessons!”

Enjoy the pictures of clavichords, harpsichords, Mozart, Beethoven's piano forte, and electric pianos played by Prince.

One piano had Liszt’s quote:

“I confess to having played wrong notes and scribbled wretched music on this charming instrument.”

19 July, 1844.

Acoustic vs Digital

I enjoy playing both acoustic and digital pianos, depending on the music. When parents ask if they should get an instrument, my answer is always 'yes'—the best you can afford! A quality piano inspires exploration and creativity.

Here are some pictures of pianos I’ve owned and played over the years, including my current studio instruments: a Hailun upright acoustic and digital options.
